Enhanced Blog Edition Beta 1
I’ve been busy over the last few weeks working on the Community Kit for SharePoint (CKS) 2.0 Enhanced Blog Edition. We have now released the first version on CodePlex which contains many enhancements for SharePoint blogs. These enhancements include friendly URLs (i.e. archive/2007/06/19/enhanced-blog-edition-beta-1.aspx vs. Lists/Posts/ViewPost.aspx?ID=26), tag cloud support, post trimming, Akismet integration for spam prevention and custom RSS URLS. Enhanced SharePoint Blog Edition
I’m pleased to report that the project to develop an enhanced blog edition for SharePoint is now underway. We had our first meeting this morning and it looks like this will be a great project to be involved in.
